About the Role

Do you want to start a rewarding career in Education? If you want to learn the skills involved in supporting in a productive school office, this is the job for you! In this role you will develop into a School Administration professional and make a real difference.

With RNN Group support, this Apprenticeship will give you expert training, alongside Brinsworth Howarth Primary School to develop you into a professional School Administrator.

This role will specifically develop your administration skills alongside increasing your knowledge of the education sector and supportive techniques.

This Apprenticeship will support you to be able to:

  • Undertake reception duties, answering general telephone calls and face to face enquiries
  • Liaise with parents/staff
  • Assist in arrangements for school visits and events
  • Provide general clerical support
  • Maintain manual and computerised records
  • Undertake typing and word-processing and other IT based tasks
  • Sort and distribute mail 
  • Provide general advice and guidance to staff, pupils and others
  • Oversee stationery stock levels and create orders
  • Any other duties which the Head Teacher/School Business Manager requires
• Ensure you can travel to the place of work for the working hours stated above. • No leave can be taken in term-time • Required training must be completed e.g full safeguarding training
  • Full time employment and progression to higher education.

About the Training

  • Business Administrator Level 3 qualification
  • Functional Skills Maths Level 2 (if required)
  • Functional Skills English Level 2 (if required)
  • Monthly online sessions and termly face to face taught sessions
