About the Role
<p>You will support engineers in designing infrastructure (roads,drainage,bridges,foundations,water systems etc) by creating CAD drawings, using design software, conducting site surveys and managing project data. No previous engineering experience is required.The role involves on-the-job training and opportunity for further, fully funded study.</p>

As a trainee CAD Technician, you will be provided full training on how to use CAD to support our Infrastructure Engineers, learning how to draw external works and plot drainage for large residential sites and various building types.
- In addition, the role may also involve developing CAD and other software skills to draw general arrangements in steel, concrete, timber and domestic including RC for medium to large structures
About the Training
- One day per week at City Campus, Granville Road, Sheffield. S2 2RL
- Combined with Google Classroom sessions and conventional tutor led class lessons
