About the Role

To effectively manage sales enquiries, order progressing and customer interactions to ensure excellent customer service. To deliver proactive communication with the customer when necessary, assessing customer needs and using product knowledge and sales skills to serve the customer effectively.

This is an exciting opportunity within a busy local business for an Apprentice Customer Service Advisor to:

  • Respond to customer queries and requests for information
  • Manage customer expectations and provide excellent levels of customer service
  • Always aiming for first call resolution where possible
  • Prompt and accurate processing of inbound sales enquiries and orders
  • Liaise with other Ecospill departments to ensure delivery of excellent service
  • Respond to customer complaints and deliver solutions that meet customer needs
  • Promote products in cross-sell and up-sell opportunities appropriately
  • The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your role within the organisation and the overall business
This apprenticeship wage is the NMW for apprentices and will be monitored on a regular basis where the apprentice is progressing within the role. Ensure you can travel to the office on a daily basis.

About the Training

Level 3 Customer Service Specialist Apprenticeship Standard, which includes:

  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
  • Full, on-the-job training will be provided by the employer, with 20% off-the-job training as a requirement
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)
