About the Role

A good opportunity has become available for an apprentice administrator to be based in the S21 area of Sheffield. This position will be working for a well-established engineering company who operate all around the UK.

  • Answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries from Clients and Suppliers.
  • Issuing and recording client feedback forms.
  • Log incoming post and distribute.
  • Send company post out using Royal Mail website.
  • Closing down projects on our finance and Document Management system and archiving.
  • Learning how to add orders to our finance system.
  • Any other Administration duties as and when required.
Due to the location of the business, it may be useful to hold a full UK driving licence and access to a car as there are limited public transport options.
  • Upon succesful completion of the apprenticeship, this may lead to a permanent position as an Administration Assistant at Greenpiling. 

About the Training

  • You will be required to attend Sheffield College - City Campus one day per month as part of your training.
