Apprentice Facilities Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking an apprentice for the effective and efficient delivery of property, facilities and health and safety and maintenance for staff, tenants and guests of Sheffield Futures and Star House.
You will undertake the Level 2 Facilities apprenticeship to learn and apply new skills whilst working in this charity role.
- Planned and periodic maintenance of properties and building services
- Appropriate participation in facilities renewal, such as light DIY tasks, painting and decorating, etc.
- Proactive response to tenancy and partner requests as these relate to Sheffield Futures buildings, facilities, and estates
- Setting up rooms and conference spaces, moving equipment and furniture, and the maintenance of a clean and tidy environment at Star House
- Periodic health and safety checks and provision to ensure safety, environmental responsibility, and legal compliance
- Assisting with appropriate administrative tasks as requested by the Facilities Office
- Other additional ad hoc duties commensurate with that of a Facilities Assistant
An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required for this role.
On completion of this apprenticeship there may be opportunities to further skills within facilities, including additional apprenticeships at Level 3 and 4.

Training will take place online and/or at our offices in Sheffield city centre.
