About the Role

At Daisy Chain we provide an environment that will help you develop the skills to become a competent and professional childcare educator. You will be supported and encouraged by not only your own mentor but the whole nursery team. We have a flexible working environment that will require a candidate that is enthusiastic and motivated.

  • You will be involved in the day-to-day care of children aged 3 months to 5 years
  • You will be involved in the planning and implementing of activities for the children, expanding creative skills, and encouraging children to be curious in their learning
  • You will gain experience in all the age groups of the children who attend
  • You will be involved in working in partnership with the parents and the families of the children
Level 2 in Childcare or Early Years is desirable

A potential full-time role on completion of apprenticeship.

About the Training

Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship. 

Apprentices who have not achieved the equivalent of level 2 in maths and English, must achieve these prior to end point assessment. 
Training will include paediatric first aid qualification. 

Apprentices will be allocated a Trainer Assessor, and training will be planned and delivered in conjunction with the employer to meet the individual needs of the apprentice.  

The apprentice will spend 20% of their working hours in off the job activities and training. 

On the job and off the job training will be delivered in their workplace.
