About the Role
<p>You will be caring for children from 3 month old-5 year olds which will include:</p> <ul> <li>Setting up and tiding away activities and resources. </li> <li>Interacting and playing with children in the indoor and outdoor environments</li> <li>Observing children in their play</li> <li>Speaking with colleagues and families</li> </ul>
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Work in a team, having respect for others and collaborating with the staff
- Have an inclusive, kind and polite attitude, meeting the needs of every child in the nursery
- Follow policies and procedures including safeguarding and health and safety requirements
- Passing a DBS check
- A full time role as a key worker for children
About the Training
A blended approach to training which will include a weekly day release to Sheffield College's City Campus at Granville Road.
The successful applicant will also receive internal training in the following areas:
Safeguarding training
- Healthy and safety training
- Curriculum training
- Early Years foundation stage training
- GDPR training
- Healthy Early years
About the Employer
Chantrey House Nursery is located in Woodseats in a renovated house. We have a baby room aged 3 months-2 years we can have 15 babies, a toddler room 2-3year old room we can have 20 toddlers and we have a pre school room for 3 -4 year olds ,we can have 27 preschool.
We have 19 staff member with qualifications ranging from Level 2 –Level 6.
