About the Role

The RAC, in partnership with North Humberside Motor Trades Group Training Association (Motor Trades GTA) have an exciting unique Apprenticeship Programme for aspiring Roadside Patrols and Mobile Mechanics across the country!

  • Attend real life breakdown situations and mobile mechanic services, going beyond traditional mechanic training to develop a well-rounded skill set
  • Provide roadside assistance, perform diagnostics, and carry out repairs, all while effectively communicating with our members to ensure they get back on the road
  • Complete services, repairs, and diagnostics at customers' homes or workplaces, offering a diverse range of experiences
  • You will have access to a fully equipped, state-of-the-art company vehicle and complete tool kit, this will ensure you have the tools needed to succeed and grow
Where you'll work? Chapeltown - Postcode area: S35 1 You will be required to live within a 30 minute drive of the above postcode.

About the Training

On completion of a comprehensive induction programme your rota will typically involve working at roadside for 4-weeks then you will need to attend Motor Trades GTA College in Hull (HU4 7DY) for 1-week, every 4-5 weeks.
