About the Role

We are seeking to recruit a new member to join our pharmacy family in our innovative small team of qualified professionals, as an Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant. For the right candidate, there is the opportunity to secure full-time employment and progress to a higher level qualification such as the Level 3 Pharmacy Technician.

  • Dispensing of medication to patients
  • Over counter sales of non-prescription medication
  • Check and monitor prescription slips
  • Health & Safety responsibility
  • Stock rotation
  • Use of pharmacy software
  • Data entry relating to medication
  • Labelling and dispensing
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Working within a team environment
If using public transport please make sure to consider travel time. Candidates will be expected to travel between 3 different pharmacies located in S18 1PY, S40 1EL and S41 8DU.
  • A permanent position within the organisation with the opportunity to advance and take a Pharmacy Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship

  • Pharmacy Assistant Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
  • Medicine Counter Assistant Course accredited by the General
  • Pharmaceutical Council [GPhc]
  • Dispensing Assistant Course accredited by the General
  • Pharmaceutical Council [GPhc]
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)
  • In-house training
