Branch Apprentice (Merchant/Retail)

Our 26-month Fast Track Hire Management Apprenticeship is open to anyone aged 18+. Join this opportunity and we will give you the skills, knowledge, and qualifications to manage your own Hire branch. Whether you’re keen to learn practical skills or build strong relationships with customers, this apprenticeship offers a clear path to success.

• Structured Development: Starting with the Travis Perkins Certificate in Hire, you’ll gain hands-on technical knowledge and a deep understanding of our hire products and services. Then, progress to the Level 3 Management Programme to build your leadership skills and prepare you for success.
• Support Every Step of the Way: Enjoy one-on-one coaching, mentoring, and a fantastic network to guide you through your apprenticeship and beyond. We’ll also factor study time into your working week to ensure a healthy work-life balance.
• Career Growth: By the end of your apprenticeship, provided you have maximised your time and your potential,  you should be equipped with the skills and knowledge to take on a leadership role within Travis Perkins Hire. Our roles are advertised internally and we love to promote from within, so providing there is an opportunity available within your region, or you are flexible on other locations, you’ll be in the best position to apply.

Your learning will be “on the job” with time set aside each week to complete any necessary coursework, and there’s no expectation to take work home with you. You’ll have a dedicated apprenticeship coach who’ll support you every step of the way and you’ll receive 1:1 coaching, mentoring and technical and skills training to enable you to progress your career with us. At the end of your training, you’ll complete an end point assessment and on successful completion you’ll achieve a level 2 apprenticeship and will be able to progress to a level 3 apprenticeship.
