About the Role

Doordeals are an internet based Timber door retailer. Having had exceptional growth over several years we are now looking to recruit extra Warehouse operatives to join our fantastic team, focused on continuing impressive long term growth. An excellent opportunity to join a profitable company, passionate about delivering great customer service.

The role will include:

·        Lifting and moving bulky stock items

·        Picking and allocating stock

·        Packaging goods up for dispatch

·        Checking quality of goods

·        Loading and unloading vehicles

·        Checking products off against delivery notes (checking door sizes with tape measure, measuring glass apertures etc...)

·        Inputting data onto a computer system

·        Dealing with customers in person and over the phone, acting in a courteous, polite and professional manner with all customers

·        Stock checking

·        Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace

To consider: • Being able to keep a focus on the job to hand. • Energetic, enthusiastic, hard working, with a can-do attitude. • Work to time constraints, work under pressure and well organized • Someone who gets on with people at all levels on the phone and face- to-face • Able to understand and read metric and imperial measurements • Physically fit to move and carry heavy goods within a team

Senior staff started in the warehouse and have since progressed within the business.

Apprenticeship progression could include Safety Health & Environmental Level 3 or Improvement Technician Level 3.

About the Training

Training will all be delivered within the workplace, consisting of blended learning including online sessions and tutor visits. Working towards a Level 2 Supply chain warehouse operative apprenticeship standard, including Functional Skills if required.
